Persian Hoop Earrings, Gold
A pair of gold-plated brass hoop earrings inspired by an ancient Persian design.
The shape of the earring is taken from a 2,000 year-old Persian original which was discovered in Susa, and which dates to the Parthia Empire (247 BC-224 AD).
To form the hoop, the goldsmith would have rolled a fine leaf of gold onto a core made of pitch. This classic technique made it possible to economise on the precious metal.
A stylish gift inspired by historical design.
Please note that for hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be refunded or exchanged.
