I am also the lead audio engineer at Broadway Music Studios in Boulder, CO. I currently I have been doing online tutoring for over 4. I graduated from Rutgers, Cum Laude, where I attended Mason Gross School of the Arts and studied Jazz Guitar. I have my master's degree in Recording Arts from University of Colorado Denver, Summa Cum Laude.
I teach a wide array of music production subjects--audio engineering and DAW's, and instruments as well--guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, beginner piano, and music theory. I love teaching all ages of students and learning styles and am committed to helping my students achieve their highest potential. My goal is to get students as excited and engaged as I get about the subjects I teach!

I have been playing music since I was 13, guitar specifically. I graduated from Rutgers University where I studied intensively under the tutelage of the late Vic Juris, and Ralph Bowen. More recently, I have obtained my master's degree in Recording Arts. I can teach a wide array of audio engineering topics, Digital Audio Workstations--as well as train you on how to mix and master! I am also Pro Tools Certified. No subject is unteachable!

I am also very well trained in Music Theory, Classical and Jazz, and am told I have a unique way of making music theory easy and accessible to those who find it difficult.

Please feel free to reach out to me! Call or text! I am very responsive and flexible. I look forward to starting our lessons together.

Justin is your Man!

I want to improve my ProTools skills in editing, mixing and mastering. Justin responded super speedily to my request, we set up an appointment for the next day, and he helped me immensely in just our first session. Looking forward to learning more from him!!! I know Justin teaches many things besides ProTools. He’s an excellent teacher and I know he would be great in those areas as well. Just is your man!

Amazing tutor

Justin did a great job with my son who is 13. They went over finger positions today with the guitar. They also worked on the names of major and minor cords. My son had a wonderful time and is eagerly waiting for his next lesson.
